The hotel appoints Vijay Bussa as F&B manager, Ramy Shawky as front office manager and Zeeshan Saleem as safety and security manager

The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel welcomes three new heads of department. Vijay Bussa is the new food and beverage manager, Ramy Shawky will lead the front office as manager, and Zeeshan Salem is appointed as safety and security manager. Before joining The Retreat Palm Dubai, Vijay Bussa was at Anantara The Palm Dubai where he started as restaurant manager, and later assumed the role of food and beverage operations manager. He also worked as restaurant supervisor, and eventually as restaurant manager at Madinat Jumeirah. He has a bachelor’s degree in hotel management and has been in the hospitality industry for 13 years.

The new front office manager, Ramy Shawky has more than ten years of front office experience gained from five-star hotels. Prior to his new role, he was the assistant front office manager at Movenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach. His other previous hotel affiliations include Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah, Kempinski Mall of the Emirates, the former Kempinski Ajman Hotel, Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort, and Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh.

Zeeshan Saleem, the new safety and security manager has more than 10 years of experience in his field. Before joining the property, he was the security manager at Aloft Dubai South. He also worked as part of the security team at The Ritz Carlton Dubai JBR and Qatar Airways.
